Boost is optional. You never need it to sell on Stonefjord — your listing appears in search and browse either way. Boost is there if you want extra reach.
You only pay when Boost brings the buyer.
The two tiers
Boost Basic
5% of the sale price, never more than $50. Reaches buyers within 25 miles.
Boost+
10% base, 15% at 250 miles, 20% Global — never more than $150. 100 miles included, plus first position in Trending for buyers within your reach.
Boost Basic — 5% of the sale price, only when Boost brings the buyer, max $50. Boost+ — 10% to 20% of the sale price depending on reach, only when Boost brings the buyer, max $150. Optional. Nothing to pay up front.

The Boost fee is charged on the item price only — never on shipping, tax or the buyer fee.
When you pay, and when you don’t
You pay when a buyer clicks your listing in a Promoted placement and buys it within 30 days, while Boost is still on.
You pay nothing if the buyer came from a direct link, from search, from something you shared, if the buyer checked out as a guest, or if you turned Boost off before the sale.
The caps
A Boost Basic fee is never more than $50 on one sale, and a Boost+ fee is never more than $150, whatever the item sold for.
Item price only
The fee is a percentage of the item price. Shipping, sales tax and the buyer fee are not part of it.
Nothing up front
There is nothing to pay when you turn Boost on and no card to add. When a Boost sale completes, the fee is deducted from your payout for that sale.
Cancellations and refunds
If a sale is cancelled or fully refunded, the Boost fee is reversed with it. Once a sale stands, its Boost fee is not refundable.
How far it reaches
Boost Basic reaches buyers within 25 miles. Boost+ includes 100 miles and can be set to 250 or Global.
Reach never overrides a buyer’s own filter. If someone is browsing within 25 miles, a Global listing further away still will not appear for them.
Where it shows
A boosted listing can appear in browse results and in the Trending row. Every boosted listing is labelled “Promoted” wherever it appears, so buyers can tell it from other listings.

Boost is available to sellers with a U.S. ZIP code for now.
