How to Connect Your Bank Account
Set up payouts so you can receive money from sales.
Go to Payouts
Sign in, click "My Account", then "Connect Account" in the left navigation. (The page itself is headed Payouts & Bank Account.)
Click "Connect your bank account"
Click the "Connect your bank account" button. This opens Stripe's secure embedded onboarding.
Complete Stripe onboarding
Stripe will ask for your personal details and bank account information. This is required by financial regulations. Stonefjord never sees your banking details — everything goes directly to Stripe.
Verification
Stripe verifies your identity and bank account, which typically takes a few minutes to a few hours. You'll receive an email when your account is approved.
Start receiving payouts
Once connected, your earnings from each sale are paid out to your bank account 7 days after the sale. Stonefjord releases each payout on that schedule; Stripe then sends it to your bank, which can take a little longer. A payout can wait longer while a refund or dispute is open, or if Stripe reviews your account.
Which currency am I paid in?
Everything on Stonefjord is priced in US dollars. If your bank account is in Canada, Stripe pays you in Canadian dollars, converted at Stripe's rate on the day of each payout, and Stripe deducts a currency-conversion fee of about 1–2% from that payout. To set a price, think in US dollars — check a current rate before you list.
